It's HOT!

Seriously, way too hot for me, it was in the 90's today.  I felt like I was melting, definitely glad I wasn't trialing this weekend.  :-)  I was going to drive down to watch the P-Wow's debut, but traffic and the heat kept me home.  Then, I was going to go over to Kristi's to let the dogs swim, but was too lazy for that too.  I'm using Max's recovery as my formal excuse, but really pure laziness, since it's 3 minutes away and Max didn't have to go.  I will be going over there tomorrow morning, since Vic must do some frames if a late July Perf. Speed Jumping debut is in his future (not Championship, because I'd like to avoid the spread jumps and a lower frame would be better, since it already feels like a greedy goal to try and be able to run him in Scottsdale).  My lazy solution to everyone's heat misery was to water the lawn, so Vic and Starlet had some sprinkler fun.  Max wasn't too into it, but he's definitely seems to be feeling better.  :-)  I don't let Vic play with the sprinkler too much, because of his super man leaps and Starlet spends her time psyching herself up to try and bite it.   They did have a good time with it today.  :-)

It's Vic's Dark Side!

That is some crazy wet dog fun! Reminds me of being a kid in Texas playing with the sprinklers:-)
Vic especially takes a very child-like delight in sprinkler fun, but all the dogs like it on a freakishly hot day. :-)
My Max does what Vic does...jumps around like a nut head in the sprinkler. Nub and Beep try to drown themselves in it! Nub likes to stand on a sprinkler we have, then looks at it wondering what happened to the water, moves his foot and blasts his face full on with the water. Max also carried the sprinkler, while it was on, into the garage!
Too cute! Sounds like some serious doggie fun. :-) Starlet has also been known to move the sprinkler, usually towards the house. ;-) My Max sounds more like Nub and Beep, unless the hose is in your hands, then he becomes a leaping fool. :-)
Fun photos. You should move to Oregon, get away from that crazy heat;)
I've actually tried to get the hubby to move up there 10+ years ago and then again about 4 or so. Mike's very limited in the type of climate he thrives in, so I now dream of a move to Arroyo Grande instead (purely because of housing costs).
That is EXACTLY why we moved to WA. A lovely 58 degrees, sun shining and I feel perky, well as perky as old bird can feel :)

Vic looks awesome. Vic and Roo will have to be pairs partners someday!
Santa Barbara has made me have a very limited functional temperature range (60-78ish), but I'd definitely rather go cooler than hotter. Where's the ocean breeze?!?!

Roo is adorable and you sound very happy with her! Roo and Vic will definitely have to do Pairs in the future.
We don't get much heat here on the coast--so one time when we were in Bend (Central Oregon) at the campground--after getting heated up playing frisbee--Mick ran over to the osilating sprinkler head and LAID ON TOP OF IT--sort of a massage jacuzzi...smart boy! It was hilarious!
Mick is a genius and I may have to try that technique myself if we don't get a reprieve from this heat. :-)
You can always come north--it's RAINING AGAIN here today---might be 45 or so...not cold--but sure is wet!
